Workshop: Toxic behaviour in activist spaces

Course

02nd October, Wednesday

Zoom

Have you encountered “difficult” people in your activist spaces? Ever described their behaviour as toxic? What does toxic behaviour mean, and how can we address it? It’s hard to organise for a better world if our structures cause harm.

If these questions interest you, join our new training on addressing toxic behaviour in activist spaces.

Sign up for a valuable two-part training session on addressing toxic behaviour in activist spaces. Both sessions are interactive, so we encourage you to join up with someone from your group to reflect on these important topics together.

2 October, 6-8pm CEST: In the first session, you’ll gain a basic understanding of toxic behaviour and learn essential skills to address it.

There’ll also be a short group homework assignment before the workshop, but don’t worry, it’ll be fun!

Deep dive: This workshop will be followed by a second module diving deeper into group structures, decision making, and dynamics to prevent toxic behaviour. It will take place on 23 October at 6-8pm CEST and you register as your group/organisation bringing 2-4 people to the workshop.

This is a great opportunity to create healthier, more effective activist spaces!
