Join our reading circle on the Contemporary Far-Right.

This time we will not be doing as much reading, as going through a video interview How the Center-Left is Responsible for the Rise of Fascism. The video is an interview between Mehdi Hasan and Yannis Varoufakis and deals with the advent of “techno-feudalism” and the link from austerity to the rise of the far-right, which repeatedly was the work of center(left) governments in various European countries and the US. 

We took a summer break, after our June session, where we discussed the article  by Naomi Klein and Astra Taylor – The rise of End Times. This time we will build on some of our discussions from this session as well as go into new fields. 

Тhe goal of our meetings is to  investigate, discuss and reflect together on the various strands of the far-right in Europe and around the world, in connection to climate and environmental topics, and to find ways how we can use this knowledge in our activism, organizing or political work.
