Action against norwegian oil [NO]

Extinction Rebellion Norway, in collaboration with up to 10 movements and organizations in the Nordic, invites all European and global activists to join the biggest action against Norwegian oil ever. Norway is Europe’s largest fossil producer and plans to aggressively expand in the Arctic. Europe’s fossil future is on the line in Norway’s upcoming election. We demand a rapid phase out plan to ensure climate justice for all!

The action week will start in Arendal (11-13.aug) at Norway’s biggest political festival. The primary mobilization is for 18-22.august. We want to SHUT DOWN THE OIL STATE OF NORWAY, by mobilizing hundreds of activists to block fossil infrastructure on the West Coast of Norway (18-19.aug). From 20-22.aug we want to take over Oslo city center and fill the streets with creative and disruptive actions.
