Whether you are organizing a street demonstration, forest blockade, crane banner drop or occupying a building – any action will have some element of safety risk. For our activists, the workers, and passers-by, we have a responsibility to take smart actions and consider the consequences. But is doing a risk assessment really worth your time?

In this interactive skillshare we will explore how we can put thinking about risks into a practical step of our planning using concrete tools, discussions and case studies. Not only can a risk assessment enable us to take more risk – but also make everyone involved feel safer along the way.
