Gathering of Peasant and Rural Struggles [DE]

From 1-7 September 2025 the BäLäKä, a self-organized gathering of peasant and rural struggles, will take place for the first time in North Saxony (near Taucha)! We want to make topics related to agriculture and life in the countryside such as access to land, seeds and water, generational renewal, questions about infrastructure and lack of prospects in the countryside, BIPoC* and queer life realities in rural areas and much more visible in different formats. We are looking forward to a variety of program submissions that inspire, network, show new ways and possibilities for action, create alternatives and empower. From Germany, but also from other places in the world, to learn with and from each other.
