DESCRIPTION:We believe our movements can move us more, and bring more power, beauty, and soul to our climate protests. \nWe invite activists, artists, and creatives to come together, connect, grieve, and repair through poetry and music. We are inviting you to a launch event of the project #SingTheWay, a new project to share, learn, and create songs for our movements. \nRegister here \nThis project is a collaboration between the Artivist Network, Radish Radio and The Movement Hub. SingTheWay aims to equip and inspire the climate movement with an accessible library of existing songs, poetry, and chants, from around the global climate movement – while at the same time, inviting and supporting the creation of new songs from artists around the world. \nAt the launch event and performance on December 12th at 19h CET, we will hear from 3 amazing artivists from around the world as they perform and teach us a climate song that’s short enough to learn on a zoom call. With performances, storytelling and breakout room “choirs” – we hope everyone will leave the call with at least one new song they can sing at their next march or action. Not good at singing?
